Mr. Young's areas of specialization include patent preparation and prosecution, technology transfer, and licensing in the areas of communications (both broadband and wireless), software, security, and consumer products. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Young held positions of corporate and chief patent counsel positions for operating units of AT&T and Tyco International. Mr. Young was an engineer before entering the legal profession and worked in the development and manufacturing of optical filters. Mr. Young has degrees in law and engineering and attended Cornell, Binghamton, Rutgers, and Columbia universities.
